Dear New Husband,

We celebrated Christmas with your family today and decorated Christmas cookies.

And the Pokes lost in OT in Bedlam.

You win two, you lose one.

Us.

Just like Jim and Pam, we met at the office where we both still work. Well, The Wife only part time because she's in graduate school. We work for a non-profit, relief and development organization. Which is a fancy way of saying we really like helping people. The Husband says he began pursuing The Wife immediately. The Wife says she thought he was super annoying at first. Spoiler alert: She finally came around.

The Wife.

I am 25 years old, and just received my master's in social work. I love college football and can talk about football like a dude. Somedays its compliment. Those days are usually August- January. To describe myself plainly: People tell me that I am an uncanny resemblance to Liz Lemon from "30 Rock." Somedays that's a compliment to my wit, but most days its a dig at my personal hygiene and eating habits.

The Husband.

Husband is 26 years old and is commonly referred to as El Huz. He is from Virginia and just doesn't understand how Texas, Texas is. It's okay, it's weird. We all know it; that's why Texans claim Texas. Because its weird. He drinks milk constantly, and can eat the same sandwich every day. People criticize it as boring. I call it sandwich loyalty. And love him dearly for it. And a million other things.
